Diecast Cars

Miniature car is one of the most popular types of collectible toys. A car die cast scale model of the actual car and / or fantasy are made of plastic, metal or a combination of materials, but the most common are made from aluminum and zinc. Most of the cars incredibly detailed replica and the original round. Car changes made from die casting in size and scale, with some being as small as one inch in size.

Matchbox Cars

Mattel produced and marketed a range of toy vehicles, sold under the brand name Hot Wheels. Today Hot Wheels is one of the best selling toys in the world and first editions valuable collectibles. Many companies in the 1960s were using diecast cars as a promotional item to promote their business. In the 1980s, purchased most of the toys diecast collectibles for adults, not a child's toy.

Collectibles

Some of the more hard to find diecast car collection including trucks and cars made for companies, including Sears Roebuck, McDonald's, Kodak, and Texaco. Advanced cars made by companies like Cerbos salt, mustard Colman, Harrods were among the first to be manufactured in bright colors and toys are some of the most expensive diecast collection.

NASCAR

In the 2000s, the most popular cars diecast replicas of NASCAR toys, just to look like different cars racing team. The cost of collecting the miniature NASCAR cars is one of the most expensive when it comes to car collection molded under pressure. Collectors look for online auctions, flea markets and garage sales for NASCAR replicas have a full set of racing teams. If you want to start a collection of the most popular model cars, cheaper and easier to find models that are made in scale 1/64. Wheels can be quite hot and Matchbox cars get in department stores for just a few dollars. If you have a collection of diecast cars and are interested in the sale, it seems that the best way to get a good price to sell in bulk. Like any collectible, it is important to check the most collectible item the seller claims it is.

  1. And they're a really durable toy! Since they're made from metal they can endure quite a lot of damage and some like Hot Wheels and Matchbox are practically indestructible :)

    I wrote an article about various die cast cars called Matchbox vs Hot Wheels vs Majorette Toy Cars, compared them to each other... but not from a collector's point of view, but from a point of view of a parent that wants his kid to have the best possible toy.
